I am happy to announce the opening of Viewpoints, a collaboration of three artists, with different mediums and ways of expressing the colors and beauty of the California Coastline.

Andy Lepe is an emerging abstract California artist and Artist in Residence at Studio Channel Islands. His subtle transitions in color are reminiscent of the coastal vibe. Cecilia is a photographer, who lives at the Faria Beach area and is inspired daily by the tides, storms, sunsets, and local surfers. Growing up in Santa Monica, my work in recent years has been centered on the sea. As a longtime friend, many of my paintings have been inspired by Cecilia’s powerful photos.

Our three different styles, mediums and expressions all came together for an exciting exhibit. The opening reception is in the Members Gallery of Studio Channel Islands Art Center from Saturday, August 6th, 4-6pm and the exhibit will be on display until September 24th.
